Returns the address of a protected value as NUL-terminated UTF-8 text that can contain NUL characters, so read its length with sqlite3_value_bytes afterwards. Returns NULL for SQL NULL and when out of memory, and a later call that converts the value can invalidate the text.

Wasm type i(i). Signature ["sqlite3_value_text", "*", "sqlite3_value*"] from Evolu's supplement: SQLite's build replaces it with a JavaScript proxy that keeps embedded NUL characters (proxy-text-apis).
